Tab Trade - What It Is
TabTrade opened in March 2026. Trading platform based in Saint Lucia, licensed through Saint Lucia's FSRA. The guy behind it is Benjamin Boulter. Prior to TabTrade, he was a senior exec at BlackBull Markets, a FMA-regulated broker.
The BlackBull connection tells you something. It means the leadership has actually done this before. Does not guarantee anything. It is better than a founder with no industry background.
TabTrade came out of the gate with Equinix LD4/LD5 connectivity. Same data centres prime brokers run on. Most new brokers focuses on ads and sign-up promos. TabTrade went the other way. Unusual for a new broker.
Market coverage: forex, indices, metals, oil, energies, softs, stock CFDs, cryptocurrencies, exchange-traded funds. A wide spread. For a broker that launched in March 2026, that coverage is not narrow.
What You Trade On
Available: MetaTrader 5, cTrader by Spotware, and web trading. Both MT5 and cTrader from one account. Most brokers pick one platform. Getting both makes a difference. You are not locked into one.
MetaTrader 5 is the default. Full charting, EAs, massive community. If you know MetaTrader previously, it is familiar territory.
cTrader by Spotware is the alternative. Better depth of market. Faster charting. Built-in algo trading. Many people find it more natural after using both.
FIX API is available for bots but is only on the VIP tier ($25,000 deposit). TradingView charting is apparently in the works. That will make the platform set when it lands.
What You Pay
Three levels: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard account. Spread starts at 1.0 pips. Commission-free. Simple. No minimum deposit. Suits beginners.
Edge account. True raw pricing from 0.0 pips average. Flat commission of $3.50 each way. All-in: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On liquid pairs, the raw spread is frequently under 0.2 pips. So your all-in cost can be below 0.5 pips. That is good for a broker with $0 to start. Most platforms that offer pricing like this ask for $500 or $1,000 upfront. TabTrade has no minimum.
VIP account. $25,000 minimum. FIX API, faster fills, negotiated fees. Not for typical accounts. Ignore this one unless you trade institutionally.
Infrastructure
This is the area where this broker actually does something different. Equinix data centres. Execution below 30 milliseconds on Edge. Sub-20ms on VIP. Those are proper execution targets. The average platform operate at 100ms to 300ms.
Does it matter? For short-term trading, it does. The difference between fast execution and sluggish execution is the difference between. If you hold positions longer, it matters less. The point is the setup is serious. That says what kind of broker this is.
Pair those fill times with raw spreads at $3.50 per side and what you get makes sense. Not many platforms at this price point have infrastructure at this level.
Regulation
Now, the thing that requires honesty. Tab Trade is regulated by the FSRA in Saint Lucia. That is outside tier-1 jurisdiction. No ASIC. No government-backed safety net. If the lack of tier-1 regulation is a problem for you, look elsewhere. Lots of FCA-regulated options out there.
However. The person running it spent years at BlackBull Markets, an FMA-regulated broker. The server placement costs real money. Scam brokers do not bother with tier-1 data centre access. That does not make it safe. But be part of your assessment.
The deal: you give up tier-1 protection. What you get instead: 1:1000 leverage, cheap spreads, $0 to start, Equinix execution. Whether this deal makes sense comes down to your priorities.
The Bonus
Tab Trade offers a welcome bonus of up to two thousand dollars. Standard welcome offer. You fund your account, TabTrade credit extra capital. Standard terms apply: turnover conditions before you can withdraw the bonus. Read the conditions before you commit.
